Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams (born on the 20th of August, 1974 in Aviano, Italy). American actress. Famous for her naive and adorable characters. Adams was the youngest of seven children who lived as a child in Colorado's Castle Rock. She was born while her father worked in the U.S. Military in Italy. In the mid-1990s she began performing professionally and dancing at Boulder's Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. Then she moved to the regional theater in Minnesota in which she was featured in a documentary mock-up about beauty pageants Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). Her screen debut was a huge success, in which she played an obnoxious but friendly contestant, Janet relocated from Minnesota to Los Angeles where she began professional acting. She appeared in several popular films over the following decade like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up (a Martin and Lewis-film that was released in 1954).
